Create the look of “Writing on Water” in a few easy steps. Supplies needed:
- XL Blending Palette
- Tombow Dual Brush Pens
- Pen friendly paper – HP Printer Paper Premium 32 lb.
Decide on your project colors and experiment. I decided I liked the look of one solid color. With the side of the pen, “color” the Blending Palette with lines, then go back through and add “waves” or other squiggles that compliment your design.
Place your sheet of paper over the ink being careful to hold the paper down to prevent it from sliding. Rub your hand back and forth on top of the paper to transfer the ink. Remove the paper to reveal the design on the backside. You are ready to write. Try a sunset or sunrise with heatwaves extending from the sun. Soooo many possibilities!!!
What a fun concept. A sunset would be stunning! Or a water-colored rainbow…
